How will you make an impact?
- Directs workflow to the team by preparing orders by client. Lead a safe, compliant, and profitable execution of all related processes and facilities continuous improvement.
- These duties will be performed according to established safety, security, and quality guidelines in our GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility.
- Assist the supervisor in promoting and facilitating a safe work environment for all employees and take appropriate action to correct unsafe acts and procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying quantity, lot number, and product name
- Utilizes WMS (Warehouse Management System) as needed for order processing and verification
- Partners with Planning Coordinators to schedule daily workload
- Prepares orders for processing through the generation of ship labels
- Fill in as needed in the absence of the Sr Distribution Clerk
- Accommodate and carefully handle fragile products, removing damaged products as necessary
- Sorts and counts cold chain products, as required in -20 freezer and 2-8 cooler
- Participate, lead, and drive Continuous Improvement – PPI (Practical Process Improvement) events by encouraging employees to enter JDIs (Just Do Its) and perform Gemba’s
- Follow quality protocols, complying with Warehouse and Good Distribution policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Learn, adapt, and train on new concepts
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or higher preferred
- 1-2 years of warehouse distribution experience is required
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience with WMS
- Strong sense of urgency
- Can interact and utilize WMS and RF scanning devices to perform entry-level distribution tasks
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Critical thinker and problem solver
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Walk and stand up to six hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day
- Ability to wear PPE as required
- Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
