Job description

• The Design Expeditor provides necessary support to fulfill and ship customer orders after they have completed the finishing and color check process.
• Design Expeditor are responsible for the daily management of design hide orders including: cutting, trimming, labeling, rolling, packaging, shipping, maintaining inventory counts, coordinating scrap, organizing area and keeping track of supplies.

Duties / responsibilities and Expectation / Key Performance Indicators of this position include:

• Rolling, boxing, and shipping hide orders
• Cutting clean samples for customer orders
• Labeling samples accurately
• Keep accurate records of design horse inventory
• Maintain shipping supplies
• Maintain clean work area
• Track stock of boxes, rolling tubes, and other commonly used supplies.
• Utilize/learn latest technologies to complete listed tasks.
• Other duties as assigned
• Position Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Must pass color discrimination test
• Inventory experience preferred
• Shipping experience preferred

Desired Skills:

• Strong Organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds
• Basic computer/Windows skills
• Must be able to speak/understand/read/write English or show aptitude
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
