TEL Staffing is Hiring a Fiber Optic Cable Installation Technician Near Panama City, FL

Job Description

Now hiring several Cable Installation Technicians to work for a cabling and underground construction company in Panama Florida, AND at Tyndall Air Force Base Florida.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Successfully terminate various types of copper connectors

- Pull and route cable to industry and customer standards

- Perform multiple IDC terminations (66, 110, LSA, and BIX). Terminations of coaxial cable.

- Install pathways, raceway, cabinets, spaces, and fire stopping

-Display a desire to improve trade skills.

-Identify, track, and remove abandoned cable.

-Install network wiring for TELCOM.

-Must be proficient in installing ISP Fiber Optics (will be installed mostly in hospitals, at Tyndall Air Force Base, though there are some commercial installations needed as well).

-Certifications preferred but not required.

-Must be able to install cable lines on lifts, and ladders.

PAY | $ 16- $ 24 ( Depending On Experience)
SCHEDULE | M-F 7:30 - 5pm
REQUIREMENTS | Have a basic understanding of blueprints and job drawings. Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
