Sr. Partner Development Manager – SoCal

Location:  Remote Southern CA

Job Summary:

The Partner Development Manager is responsible for growth of New and Active partner that are in specific geographic regions and represents Telarus to Provider Channel Managers, (Local Channel Managers or LCM’s), current Telarus partners and prospective partners.

 

This position reports directly to the AVP West

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Recruiting

  • Form alliances with provider LCM’s
  • Identify, visit, and sign active partners not currently selling with Telarus
  • Identify, visit and sign MSP’s and VAR’s not currently selling network and voice services

 

Activating and Growing

  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with new, current and prospective channel partners
  • Recruiting new Channel Partners
  • Responds and communicates promptly with partners and team members
  • Acts as a liaison between Telarus and the assigned channel partners
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of Telarus personnel, including support, service, and management resources to help meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
  • Participates in a partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Builds relationships with Suppliers to identify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared partners and potential new partners
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of Channel background
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of Telecom background
  • Experience in recruiting new partners
  • Must be organized
  • Connecter and thrive on meeting new people and networking
  • Team Player
  • Competitor, motivated by achievement and winning
  • Self-motivator that strives in a competitive atmosphere
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills with engaging phone presence

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with Salesforce Lightning
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in and open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Attends Telarus sales meetings and training functions
  • Attends training for new products, services, and technology
  • Travel required
