Teledyne Photon Machines Inc.(PMI) is a leading designer and manufacturer of laser-based sample introduction equipment for laboratory instrumentation.

We have a great opportunity for a Stockroom Material Handler at our Bozeman, MT facility.

Summary

Under general direction, perform a variety of activities to ensure proper receipt, handling, storage and movement of material in support of engineering and production processes.

Additionally, this individual may provide support to other materials roles (such as purchasing). An individual in this position will possess and demonstrate understanding of all areas required to support materials management and has demonstrated knowledge of ERP transactions and their effect on inventory control.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Accurate and timely receiving, stocking and kitting of materials to support manufacturing and engineering.

Prepares documentation for both domestic and international shipments, including commercial invoices and air waybills.

Accurate control and accounting of all materials within the manufacturing process cycle counts, physical inventory, etc.

Accurately administer and track all borrowed material.

Accurately track and disposition scrap material or discrepant material

Provide support for Purchasing, such as creation of purchase requisitions and followup on shortages.

If capable, this person would be asked to perform basic assembly of components for our laser systems.

Education and / or Experience

HS or equivalent

Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software (Excel) and word processing software (Word).

Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment

Demonstrated values of accuracy, accountability and quality of work
