About you
You're a Data Center, or Network Engineer that's equally excited about the technical aspects of your role as much as your ability to mentor a growing team. You have demonstrated the ability to be hands-on in a data center while also thinking strategically about the big picture.
The opportunity
As the first hire on a team dedicated to Data Center Operations, this is an amazing opportunity to grow a team in a rapidly expanding organization. Responsibilities include:

• Data Center Engineer for all deployment, and operations of Telnyx POPs (Point of Presence) and Data Center environments
• Participate in efforts of the Data Center Operations in the deployment of future global POPs and Data Center environments

Who we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in all aspects of rack, stack, power, and cabling
• Fundamental understanding of Layer 1 networking
• Hands on experience with networking and server equipment
• Basic knowledge of network and server operating systems
• Must be comfortable working with Linux, Networking operating systems, CLI systems, etc.
• Background in troubleshooting connectivity problems
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and international

Bonus points for

• Fundamental understanding of network Layers 2-4
• Fundamental understanding of network hardware
• Background in deploying and managing DMDW/CWDM connectivity
• Background in deploying and managing cross connects
• Background in carrier hotels

For Colorado residents:
Salary is in the range of $50,000 - $90,000 with benefits info below:
