Position: Transportation Management System (TMS) Administrator

Position Summary:
The TMS Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and implementing new clients within the Transportation Management System, including Descartes Route Planner, PO Direct, Woo Delivery, etc. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience with these software systems and others, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality to support our logistics operations. The candidate will also be comfortable client-facing.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance: Regularly monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Descartes Supply Vision, Route Planner, PO Direct, and other TMS systems/software to ensure they are running efficiently.
• Client Implementation: Oversee the implementation process for new clients, ensuring their requirements are met and integrated smoothly into our TMS.
• Training & Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on how to use the TMS software effectively.
• Customization & Configuration: Customize and configure the TMS to meet the specific needs of clients and internal stakeholders.
• Data Management: Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the TMS, including regular audits and updates.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze reports from the TMS to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT, Operations, and Customer Service teams to align TMS functionalities with business objectives.
• Upgrades & Updates: Stay current with software updates and new features, implementing them as necessary to enhance system capabilities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and training materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Supply Chain software related to Transport Management and delivery.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in TMS software, strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, and experience with system integration.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and system maintenance.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in TMS or supply chain management are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
