Minimum of 2 years experience with credentialing activities in an acute care setting preferred

Secretarial skills, including excellent written, oral, listening, and typing skills

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Knowledge of computer operations/usage (data entry and word processing)

Knowledge of use of fax machine, digital camera, copier, calculator, telephone

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Some college course work required – Associate’s Degree preferred

P.C.S. or C.P.M.S.M.Certification (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist or Mgmt), preferred
