We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant for our Center City offices. We are looking for someone about 15 hours a week-primarily in the morning.
The Position: RMA is seekingaClinical Medical Assistant for our Center City location. The Clinical Medical Assistant's duties include, but are not limited to for greeting patients, phlebotomy, activating patient files, and for providing support to patients and medical staff.
Responsibilities :
•Assist Providers: Assist during ultrasounds and office procedures
•Phlebotomy: Specimen collection and processing, record keeping of all labs sent to outside laboratories, contact laboratories regarding specimens as necessary, post lab results to EMR as needed
•Supply Ordering and stocking of Clinical Supplies: order clinical supplies as needed
•Gather Health History: Confirm cycle specific information, confirm current medications and allergies, record in EMR
•Sterilization: Sanitize ultrasound probes, disinfect exam rooms and phlebotomy lab, sterilize all instruments in autoclave
Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred, with an interest in pursuing Medical, PA or NP careers
• This role is ideal for students taking a gap year and gaining medical experience before continuing their education.
• Medical Office experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Knowledge of Medical software program(s) preferred.
