Responsible for the accuracy of all billing charges generated in the Department of Radiology by providing billing and compliance support. Performs a full range of highly complex and diversified clerical and administrative functions relating to the billing of radiology patient accounts. Reviews and independently analyzes radiology accounts including the professional and technical components, complex investigation, follow-up and problem-solving edits and other billing activity requiring a great deal of initiative, independent analysis and considerable judgement.
Education
Associates Degree (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
5 Years experience in a related role, including billing or collections. (Required)
General Experience and knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. (Required)
5 Years experience in a hospital setting. (Preferred)
1 Year experience with Radiant and EPIC Rev Cycle financials. (Preferred)
