Tempus Unlimited is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Stoughton, MA

Description

The Technical Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage the technical aspect of the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) project. Their main duties include coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary team members and presenting on projects’ progress and results. Serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects. Experience with JIRA, or other similar issue-tracking software and excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert for the EVV technologies, including the mobile application and portal.
  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the technical portions of the project, including requirements, troubleshooting, testing and deployments.
  • Manages technical aspects of assigned projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
  • Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and resources.
  • Oversees major software development and enhancement in support of business requirements, such as Complex Care and PCA Seniority Pay. 
  • Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
  • Develops and maintains EVV reporting and submits to appropriate internal and external parties.
  • Identifies risks and mitigation strategies and communicates them as appropriate.
  • Acts as liaison and consultant with vendors and funding agencies.
  • Responsible for technical process improvements, in conjunction with vendors and internal parties.
  • Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
  • Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
  • Works with internal parties to monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Trains members of the technical staff.

Requirements

Competencies

  • Experience with JIRA, or other similar issue-tracking software 
  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with project management principles, planning and tools related to technical projects
  • Experience with information technology procedures and practices
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in regression testing and analysis
  • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Professional, friendly & understanding personality
  • Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as a team member

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field required
  • Project Management Professional Certification strongly preferred
  • At least 5 years of project management experience

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers and also must be able to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Travel may be required for this position.
