- Conduct routine inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and cleaning machinery to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural problems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Utilize hand, power, and specialized equipment for repairs and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions to production or business activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Stay informed about advancements in maintenance technology and techniques to enhance skills and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Vocational training or certification in maintenance or related fields is a plus.
- 2-3 years experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, patch paint, and plumbing systems.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of building maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Stamina to work in environments involving standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
