Tenn State Veterans Homes Board is Hiring a Central Supply Clerk Near Cleveland, TN

We are seeking a detail-oriented Central Supply Clerk to join our team. The Central Supply Clerk will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing medical supplies within the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that all departments have an adequate supply of materials to meet their operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Receive incoming shipments of medical supplies and verify contents against invoices.
- Store supplies in designated areas and maintain inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Distribute supplies to various departments according to requests.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the central supply area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient supply management.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling supplies.
- Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in inventory management or supply chain preferred.
- Familiarity with medical supplies and equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or supplies as needed.
