Tenneco is Hiring a Customer Support Analyst Near Athens, AL
- Reviews specific material releases against customer due date/releases.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as, availability and delivery schedule.
- Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories related to assigned customer/supplier(s) base.
- Provide weekly update for specified material and releases to production control supervisor and purchasing lead.
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine source of issue and take corrective action and issue of RMA including hold cage.
- Coordinates Customer dispute reconciliation between customer service and finance.
- Coordinates and schedules all incoming freight/delivery of specified goods to plant including securing entry and receiving into facility if needed after hours.
- Schedules, supplies, and manages specified material for production.
- Negotiates and develops cost savings.
- Job requires physical ability to walk plant floor to inspect material as needed for FIFO.
- Attend daily production meetings
- Forklift license may be required (training and testing provided)
- Capable of lifting 35-50 lbs. We strive to minimize need for heavy lifting.
- Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.
- May be given certain authority within job scope by Manager
- All employees will abide by the plant’s safety policy, comply with the legal and other requirements and operational controls established, work toward achieving established objectives and targets, and conform to procedures consistent with the ISO 14001 standard. An employee should report, and if necessary, stop any activity that does not conform to the policy or may injure himself/herself.
