The Marketing and Communications Operations Coordinator is a proven project leader who manages daily operations, procedures, and work order assignments to stay on track, maximizing efforts and resources. Reporting to the Director, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of marketing and communication initiatives. This includes managing CRM and website tasks, collaborating with the Director and the team, and aligning marketing and communication projects with departmental and College strategies. This highly organized professional manages multiple projects simultaneously.
Holistic Student Support
  • Oversee the campus-wide and community calendars for marketing, incorporating key student events and academic dates that inform and enhance marketing & communication strategies supporting student recruitment, engagement, and retention, reflecting the holistic support provided by the College.
Teaching Excellence
  • Collaborate with departments to create and manage marketing content (printed and digital) that highlights the College’s educational offerings and faculty achievements, ensuring materials showcase the College's commitment to educational excellence.
Program Innovation
  • Execute the operational side of marketing & communication strategies to support alignment with departmental and campus-wide goals.
  • Coordinate digital marketing & communication tasks, including CRM and website updates, to accurately represent the College's offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Web Services Coordinator and Content Coordinator to monitor digital analytics, website traffic, conversion rates, and other KPIs on both the website and the CRM to measure and report on the impact of marketing strategies.
  • Execute digital marketing strategies in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content marketing, and email campaigns, based on regular reports and insights from the team working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications.
Organizational Culture and Inclusive Practices
  • Model collaboration and cultivate an inclusive team environment that respects diversity and promotes collaboration across campus, aligning marketing & communication initiatives with the college’s strategic themes and core values.
  • Report progress and potential challenges to Director on a timely basis. Collaborate on solutions for any identified obstacles.
Fiscal Stewardship
  • Assist with the management of the marketing and communications budget by conducting thorough reviews of surveys and analytics to ensure cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility of the execution of departmental strategies. Collaborate with the Director on projects or tasks with potential budgetary impact.
  • Work within departmental budgets to support marketing initiatives, managing specific ad accounts, and ensuring that marketing expenditures align with strategic priorities.
  • Keep tasks and projects on schedule and provide solutions to arising issues, particularly with CRM systems and website development.
  • Oversee the creation and documentation of publication numbers, manage inventories, and organize marketing & communication assets to ensure compliance with all marketing and communication department policies and procedures, upholding College, TBR, State, and Federal guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing or a related area with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, OneDrive, Teams, Planner, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Experience in higher education marketing.

Projected Salary Range: $47,320 - $59,150
