- Proctors online and conventional paper/pencil exams
- Maintains security and accountability of all exams
- Monitors examinees to insure a secure and quiet test environment which supports testing integrity
- Handles and reports technical irregularities or suspicious behavior to supervisor
- Communicates clearly to large group of examinees testing guidelines and information to examinees
- Become a certified proctor for PearsonVue testing
- Assisting when needed with additional exams given in the testing center (Accuplacer, CLEP, ACT Residual & TEAS)
- Perform various clerical functions – filing, record keeping & answering phone, etc.
- Provides general information regarding testing schedule and procedures regarding all exams
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- Daytime, evening & Saturday flexibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. The ability to operate standard office equipment which includes basic computer knowledge of Excel and Word and multi-line phone, are required
- Must have the ability to solve conflict fairly and amicably
Preferred QualificationsEducation and training: Experience with proctoring exams, one year full-time experience in an educational setting and/or public contact.
