## Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Social Services Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in social work and child welfare. ## Responsibilities - Assist in providing social services support to clients in need - Work closely with individuals and families to assess their needs and develop appropriate service plans - Collaborate with various agencies to coordinate services for clients - Conduct intake interviews and assessments to determine eligibility for programs such as Medicare and Section 8 - Provide crisis intervention and support during difficult situations - Supervise and mentor individuals in workforce development programs - Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients to achieve their goals - Assist with childcare arrangements for clients when needed ## Skills - Strong background in social work, child welfare, and workforce development - Knowledge of Medicare, Section 8, and other social service programs - Ability to supervise and mentor individuals effectively - Experience in crisis intervention and motivational interviewing is a plus Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those in need!
