Remote Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are in search of a talented and self-driven Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevSecOps methodologies, excellent knowledge of CI/CD techniques. You will be responsible for developing and implementing OPA rule sets at industry standard levels while taking into account the needs of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

You have worked with Harness in the past and understand how to work within its environment.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's Harness integration.

Create, manage, and implement software development policies using the Open Policy Engine with a lens for Harness.

Advocate for industry standard usage and application of OPA.

Build and maintain tools for supporting written Policies and keeping them in compliance with InfoSec guidelines.

Troubleshoot step issues in Pipelines and be able to represent the needs of specific steps to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

Experience with Harness for continuous delivery.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.

Strong experience with Git and Git workflows.

Proficient in CI/CD tools.

Solid experience with Open Policy Engine (OPA).

Problem-solving attitude.

Team spirit.

Good time-management skills.

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in DevSecOps space.

Able to represent OPA needs in different cloud environments.
