Role: Project Manager - Warranty Claims and Supply Chain

Location: Torrance, CA

Work Type: Hybrid, 1 to 2 days onsite

Contract: W2 only

Seeking an experienced Project Manager that will manage Warranty/Warranty Claims/Supply Chain process and systems implementation

Duties include:

• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
• Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources
• Responsible for preparing and presenting project update to senior leaderships
• Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
• Manages one or more cross functional projects of high complexity
• Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large jsized, moderately to highly complex projects

Academic/Experience/Competency:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
• Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.
• 7 to 10 years of IT work experience
• Experience in Supply chain and/or Warranty claims
• Extensive project management knowledge/experience in leading and implementing customer data platform and customer centric programs
• Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM/SAFE delivery methodologies
• Strong experience with Jira, Clarity, and Confluence
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

3) Strong Familiarity with Waterfall & Agile Delivery models

4) Technical background to clearly understand complex business requirements and benefits of assigned projects

5) Ability to innovate and multi-task with minimal oversight

6) Ability to perform the role of scrum-master

Preferred:

Automotive industry background, familiarity with Automotive Product & related Business Processes
