Job Title: IT Change Management Specialist

Location: Remote (Full-Time Contractor)

Position Overview:

Our Client, a Fortune 100 Credit Union, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Change Management Specialist to join their team in a REMOTE capacity. This role is essential in ensuring that standardized methods and procedures are used during the planning, approval, and implementation of IT changes. The goal is to control risk, minimize service disruption, and provide quality service to employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Change Requests: Assess IT software and infrastructure production change requests, making recommendations (approve/deny/modify) based on conformity to policy, assessed risk, readiness, and completion of change data.
• Documentation: Ensure complete and accurate documentation of change requests, including testing results, implementation plans, and back-out plans.
• Compliance and Oversight: Ensure adherence to scheduled service windows, outages, and service level agreements. Provide oversight and escalation during production change windows.

Additional Information:

• Work Schedule: This position includes a rotation for weekend and evening shifts to manage changes during IT maintenance windows.
• Nature of Role: This is an Information Technology role, not related to Organizational Change Management.

Qualifications:

• Employees are required to reside within the continental United States.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States wihtout a sponsoring employer indefinitely. *We will only accpet the following: US Citizens, GC Holders, GC EAD, and TN VISA. *
• Proven experience in IT change management, with a strong understanding of standardized methods and procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate change requests effectively.
• Strong attention to detail in documenting change requests and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively during scheduled service windows, including weekends and evenings as required.
• Strong communication and escalation management skills to ensure smooth change implementations.
