Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital, a privately-owned and successful Veterinary Practice in San Rafael, CA, is in search of an energetic and enthusiastic Veterinarian to join the team. This practice is well-equipped and primed for growth, so if you have the following qualifications, apply today!

Qualifications

To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:

  • Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
  • License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of California, or qualify for licensure.
  • New grads accepted, 1-2 years veterinary experience preferred
  • MUST be comfortable performing various types of surgeries or willing to learn these skills.
  • Experience with general veterinary surgery skills.
  • A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
  • Be knowledgeable and skilled in the practice of veterinary medicine
  • Possess excellent marketing skills to justify and encourage diagnostic and treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
  • A team oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
  • An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets!

Hours & Availability

This is a part or full time opening with a flexible schedule! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm with plans to extend hours to 7 PM
  • Saturday - Sunday: CLOSED Plans are to open on Saturdays in the future.
  • No after-hours or on-call required!

Compensation & Benefits

Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay! The starting range for this position is $200,000 per year, dependent upon education and/or experience. This salary is negotiable, so let’s talk!
