TERRA Staffing Group is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Arlington, WA
This local aerospace company manufactures structural parts in the large business and regional jet markets. The divisions span across multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel wells, and the interior.
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you would be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's accounts payable process. Under general supervision, you would code, batch and key all invoices preparing for weekly payments and processing of AP checks.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a great team of people!
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Duties
- Coding, batching, keying all invoices and expense reports and processing vouchers for payments
- Perform 3-way match between invoice / receipt / purchase order
- Provide accurate and timely payment of invoices and perform reconciliation of vendor statements
- Manage all Sales tax, 1099 requirements, and audit vendor invoices for sales tax purposes monthly
- Maintain timely and courteous communication with external and internal vendors/departments
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, reconciling invoices and filing invoices.
- 2 years Accounts Payable experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger system and accounts payable processing
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access)
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, research, gather and analyze information quickly and skillfully
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
