Currently, they are seeking a licensed real estate agent to join their team as a Land Acquisitioner. In this role, you would acquire undeveloped land or finished lots for development. This would include working with property owners, brokers, land developers, city officials and others to secure land.
Land Acquisitioner Responsibilities
- Coordinate, secure and organize land acquisition leads
- Identify land deals through contacting brokers and engineers, reviewing development websites, studying GIS and land use plans, driving areas, and researching available resources.
- Perform title and municipal research and initial inquiry for potential land leads
- Provide all pertinent property description information, seller demands, terms, conditions and contact information to management
- Prepare letters of intent
- Conduct research to perform a market analysis on value and marketability of land for housing purposes
- Investigate site characteristics, including current and required zoning, compatibility with land use plans, wetlands, topography, school districts competitors, and proximity to employment centers and local services and amenities
- Communicate regularly with city officials
- Negotiate purchase contracts with seller
Land Acquisitioner Qualifications
- Oregon Real Estate License
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
