Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 5 buyers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development and performance excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize the procurement process and achieve cost savings.
- Collaborate with internal teams; engineering, production, and quality assurance, to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans that meet project timelines and specifications.
- Identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a reliable and high-quality supply chain for aerospace materials and components.
- Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to track and evaluate supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client specifications, as well as regulatory requirements related to procurement and quality.
Supply Chain Manager Qualifications
- Over 7 years of Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, or other similar related experience.
- Relevant experience within the aerospace or highly regulated environment.
- Over 3 years of leadership experience within Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
