TERRA Staffing Group is Hiring a Systems Engineer Near Sterling, VA
In this Systems Engineer role, you will be developing and implementing the software program and graphic for controlling the mechanical and/or electrical systems of industrial projects.

Systems Engineer Responsibilities
- Writing, modifying and testing PLC programs and designing logical sequences for automation tasks
- Oversee end to end system installation and configuration of PLC programs to industrial control systems and processes
- System integration with SCADA, HMI and other communication devices
- Collaborate closely with engineers, electricians, maintenance team, subcontractors and project managers
Pay: $45-70/hour
Systems Engineer Requirements
- Strong experience with controls software programs such as Ignition, Tridium Niagara, Siemens or other relevant software within industrial controls applications
- Understand electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams, control diagrams, prints, MOP-building operations, understanding of electrical theory, chiller control circuits and Industrial HVAC systems
- Proficient in PLC programming, HMI development and SCADA creation
- Experience in mission critical sector is highly valued
- Full insurance package including health, dental, and vision
