We are seeking a mid-level Landscape Designer/Architect who is interested in being part of a growing, innovative, and energetic team. The position includes design and construction documentation for a diverse portfolio of project types including community amenities, streetscapes, parks and open space, community identification and theming, high density, and active adult communities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, private sector environment, and have experience in site/landscape design, graphic renderings, entitlements, construction documents, specifications, and administration. The applicant will have strong organization and communication skills, proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office, the ability to comfortably work in a team and independently, knowledge of Colorado horticulture, willingness to take initiative and be self-motivated and flexible. A good sense of humor and a great attitude are necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in landscape design for entitlement package submittals.
  • Assist in developing design concepts.
  • Attend project meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal team and consultants.
  • Conduct construction administration. Site visits, prepare punch lists, and communicate with contractors, product reps., and consultants.
  • Prepare construction document packages. Layout and grading plans, planting plans, details, and specifications.
  •  Prepare cost estimates.
  •  Produce project graphics. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Proficient use of AUTOCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience assembling and submitting landscape packages for entitlement processes.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and assembling construction plans, cost estimates, and bid schedules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize creativity and problem-solving in design work.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Understanding of drafting and editing specifications.
  • Understanding of Colorado Horticulture.
  • Professional Landscape Architecture registration or in pursuit of for the State of Colorado is preferred.

  • Staff receives paid holidays, an accrual PTO program starting at 10 days per calendar year, and a summer schedule with every other Friday off.
  • Base compensation range: $75,000-$90,000, dependent on experience.
