The Terrain creative team is looking to hire a highly motivated Digital Designer with refined sense of typography, strong conceptual skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. The candidate must demonstrate excellent design ability, thrive under challenging deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude. Must possess willingness to jump from project to project while maintaining consistent, accurate work. This is a hands-on digital design role for individuals interested in direct-to-consumer marketing for a growing garden and home brand.

Create visual assets for all of Terrains digital channels including web, social media, apps, banners, emails, etc.

• Work with the Senior Digital Designer in developing and evolving the look and feel of the Terrain brand online; as well as establishing style guides for brand consistency.
• Pull swipe and build mood boards, to visually explore digital experiences and content.
• Initiate collaboration with art directors, senior digital designers, merchandisers, copywriters, and e-commerce specialists in the production of consistent and captivating brand messages.
  Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital space, staying up to date on best practices, and basic UX.
  Pull together editorial stories that are visually inspiring with existing brand photography.

• 2-4 years of digital design experience in the ecommerce, retail, or agency space
• Fluency in industry standard software suite.
• Knowledge and understanding of interactive capabilities and best practices.
• Experience in graphic design for the digital landscape is required.
• Strong typography skills.
• Collaborates with partners to ensure messaging is on brand and clear.
  Thrives and innovates under challenging deadlines, while remaining a team player.
  Past experience in retail or home related industry is a plus.
• Illustration and motion graphic skills a plus
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Advertising or equivalent.
