An exciting opportunity to be a part of holiday at Terrain! A Part-time Operations Associate supports the store with an emphasis on Christmas tree yard operations and customer service, stock processes, site maintenance, and nursery maintenance tasks to uphold terrain’s four promises: to welcome, to inspire, to inform and to appreciate our customer.

Shifts are typically 6 to 8 hours long and include a break.

Customer Experience

• BRAND REPRESENTATIVE: contributes to the store and customer experience by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
• CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT: supports the customer in-store pickup process including loading of product into vehicles
• STORE ENVIRONMENT: assists with product placement and other visual priorities; participates in maintaining facility standards which includes plant care, nursery maintenance, and store custodial tasks

Teamwork Communication

• SHARE KNOWLEDGE: actively participates in daily meetings and projects; facilitates the sharing of relevant information regarding shipment, restock, organization, and maintenance updates
• CONTRIBUTE: takes initiative and works productively with the team to achieve common, collaborative goals; remains flexible as priorities change due to business needs
• COMMUNICATION LOOP: communicates daily with the leadership team on custodial or shipment needs, nursery maintenance support, and stock/product tasking updates

Visual Business Operations

• RECEIVING FUNDAMENTALS: collaborates with key partners to effectively support the shipment process including UPS/USPS deliveries, product drop shipments, transfers, and damages
• NURSERY OPERATIONS: assists the nursery team with select interior and exterior plant care; helps maintain outdoor areas and systems in all seasons
• STOCKROOM ORGANIZATION: partners with the Decor team team to support organizational standards in back of house; keeps all receiving, shipping, stock, supply, and production areas clean and organized
• AWARENESS: adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
