Key Responsibilities:
- Invoicing and Billing: Prepare and send out invoices to wholesale clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Payment Processing: Record and process incoming payments, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Collections: Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, follow up with clients to ensure timely collections, and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with wholesale clients, addressing any inquiries or issues related to their accounts.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to support overall business operations and objectives.
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a wholesale or similar industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles and practices, familiarity with GAAP is a plus.
