Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced European Sales Director to lead our sales efforts across Europe, based in Germany. As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in:

Driving Business Growth:

  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide the right solutions for clients.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients.
  • Offer strategic leadership to business units.

Expanding Market Presence:

  • Utilize your extensive industry knowledge.
  • Leverage your proven track record to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strengthen our position in the semiconductor engineering services and solutions space.

Supporting Additional Services:

  • Support the sales of our VLSI design services.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in the semiconductor and electronics industry across Europe, with a major focus on Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Benelux, and the Nordic regions, but also including Eastern Europe. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand the client base and market share for Tessolve's ATE test engineering services and support the growth of VLSI design services.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives. Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics within the semiconductor and ATE test engineering domains. Translate market insights into actionable strategies to maintain Tessolve's competitive edge.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of sales forecasts, budgets, and plans. Collaborate with senior management to define sales targets, performance metrics, and growth initiatives.
  • Negotiations and Proposals: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients. Develop compelling proposals and presentations that address client requirements and highlight Tessolve's value proposition.
  • Networking and Industry Events: Represent Tessolve Semiconductor at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to showcase our capabilities, establish thought leadership, and expand the company's professional network.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales and business development within the semiconductor industry, with a focus on ATE test engineering services. Experience in VLSI design services is also desirable.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets with a strong network of contacts in the European semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ATE test engineering, semiconductor technologies, VLSI design services, and industry trends.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels of an organization.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market dynamics and formulate effective sales strategies.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits and industry events across Europe.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or other European languages is a plus.
