What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter- Project Coordinator position at Test?
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Drafter is responsible for completing specifically assigned drafting projects as assigned by the Product Development Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with corporate drafting and engineering for project approvals to ensure the project is completed in a timely manner.
- Submits prints for permit applications.
- Handles modular state code compliance and prints.
- Develops accurate and complete production drawings for assigned models and/or projects.
- Work closely with other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma with Drafting Fundamentals exposure
- AutoCAD drafting training and experienced preferred
- One or more years of manufacturing assembly experience or one or more years of drafting experience
- Strong computer skills and understanding of relevant software packages (drafting, Microsoft Office)
- Strong mechanical skills
- General home construction experience
- Motivated self-starter with a strong tolerance for change
