Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers regarding order status, punch list resolution, and scheduling orders for delivery/installation
- Initiates and oversees deliveries and installations; provides order management on all work, including large projects
- Provides clarification and answers for customer's questions regarding order issues
- Completes order placement based on phasing, delivery dates, and ship to locations as outlined by the project manager, account manager, or installation manager
- Assists in establishing fees, discounts and developing quotes for customers
- Checks acknowledgements against orders; resolves discrepancies with the factory; sends acknowledgement to our customer; verifies ship date with customer
- Enters orders for punch list/warranty work; follows up to ensure all punch list work is done in a timely manner
- Creates work orders and coordinates with installation team for final delivery and installation
- Maintains accurate and detailed record keeping, including sign-offs and approvals, key decision records, etc.
- Confirms project completion and ensures all invoicing is timely and accurate
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, and data entry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to quickly learn new applications
- Professional demeanor and approach; collaborative approach is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be focused and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in the furniture or construction industry
Physical Demands
While performing job duties, must regularly talk, listen and hear. Considerable use of arms, legs and moving the whole body including climbing, lifting, balancing and walking. Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly use hands to reach and handle or feel product. Occasionally lift, carry and/or move product weighing up to 20 lbs. Must have the ability to use close and distant vision, see color, use peripheral vision, have depth perception, and adjust/focus.
