Project Coordinator
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Project Coordinator I to provide needed project support for our Power Delivery Engineering Coordination Line Dept. This position will be based in our Boise, ID office with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location.
Responsibilities
- Align with POWER’s Culture.
- Be accountable for your performance and the quality of your work within the Department.
- Demonstrate technical efficiency in Microsoft Office and other project tools, with a willingness to learn and be a self-starter.
- Develop knowledge in Transmission Line design, including PLS-CADD, structure staking, foundations, assembly drawings, steel pole performance loading, material procurement, construction specifications, and construction support.
- Manage material tracking and maintain the Master Material List, including addressing buyer inquiries and expediting materials.
- Pursue continual technical growth through in-house and external industry conferences.
- Support project workflow from initiation through closeout.
- Lead or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient and effective project plan.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of project submittals and client correspondence.
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes and work with the project team to develop improvements.
- Review non-technical aspects of drawings and deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy.
- Support projects in Quality Assurance and Quality Control documentation through reviews and file organization.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with internal colleagues and client representatives.
