Job Description Summary:
Provides age and developmentally appropriate direct clinical care to preemie, neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric critically ill patient populations. Delivers care according to the Scope of Service for ICU. Adheres to and practices the SJH Corporate Compliance Program and participates in Performance Improvement activities. Floats to other clinical areas of the hospital per policy.

Minimum Education:
Required: ASN
Preferred: BSN
Minimum Work Experience:
Required: Good interpersonal, phone and customer service skills and basic computer skills.
Preferred: Two years ICU/CCU experience. Current CCRN or CEN, TNCC encouraged.
Required Licenses:
Current RN License with the authority to practice in the State of Wyoming and BLS required at time of hire. ACLS and PALS or ENPC certification required in 3 months of hire. CPI required within 6 months of hire.

Working Conditions:
Intensive care hospital setting, frequent stressful situations and crowded conditions. Must be on-site at the SJH campus or other facilities to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
Physical Requirements:
90% of the time standing or walking. Long hours with irregular breaks and meals. Must possess sight/hearing senses to fully perform job functions. Must possess the ability to lift, push, pull or move patients, equipment and supplies. Must be able to lift 50 ponds. Intermittent sitting, phone and computer use.

Internal and External Contacts: All hospital staff, physicians, patients, families, visitors, public and the community.
