Registered Nurse Job Summary
The Registered Nurse acts as a team member by aiding in the supervision and administration of quality care in the hospital. The Registered Nurse is accountable for planning, organizing, directing and delivering patient care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures among patient/family, medicine, nursing, ancillary and other team personnel. This position acts as a patient advocate, assessing patients for educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort and safety needs. The RN maintains current knowledge and personal education about standards of professional nursing practices, and attends staff meetings and other trainings required by TVHC. This position allows for flexibility in scheduling the needs of a 24/7 facility.
