Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Civil, Construction or Geotechnical engineering from a four-year ABET accredited engineering program required.A master’s degree is a plus.
• 2-8 years of related experience to demonstrate candidates’ ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 
• Qualified candidates must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and be able to apply for the Principles and Practices of Engineering Exam and to be licensed in the State of Texas within two years. 
• Proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Civil3d, Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, etc., or similar.
• Knowledge and experience with Bentley software packages including OpenFlows WaterCAD and StormCAD and USACE HEC-HMS or HEC-RAS is a plus.
• Candidate must be highly motivated; customers focused and work well in a team environment.
• Candidate must also have the ability to manage and lead project tasks. Must possess client interaction and organizational skills.
• While this position does not require regular travel, the candidate must be able and available for travel periodically during a year and to project sites via land or air and must possess a valid drivers’ license in good standing.Travel is primarily within the State of Texas and New Mexico.
• A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
