Tetra Tech is Hiring a Construction Architect Ashgabat Turkmenistan State Department US Embassy Secret Clearance Required Near Washington, DC
The Project
- 17.3 Acre $120M New US Embassy Compound (NEC) Construction Project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan
- The new construction includes:
- 6-story NOB (New Office Building)
- CACs (Compound Access Control Facilities)
- Site Improvements
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 48 months are available if you want them.
- Housing and transportation allowances provided.
- Uplift includes 25% of base salary, plus 30% COLA.
- Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home)
Position Description
- Provide NEC project with full range of critical architectural, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
- Perform technical inspections, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
- Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
- Review shop drawings and submittals from construction contractor in order to identify problems or non-compliance with design or contract specifications.
Requirements
- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a U.S. institution; or a Master's Degree in Architecture certified by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).
- 7 years construction experience
