Essential Education, Experience And Responsibilities

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or 8 years’ experience with an emphasis in civil drafting, computer aided design or similar.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD/Civil 3D software2918 ad newer.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer.
• Familiar with the following modules:
• Survey, Points, Surfaces, Design, Alignments, Profiles, Corridors, Sections, Pipe Network, Volume Calculations, Labeling, Analyzing and Vehicle Tracking.
• Familiar with surveyors provided files and coordinate systems.
• Familiar with Data short cuts. And file organization.
• Prepare and revise Grading Plans as directed by the given criteria.
• Prepare and revise grading plans as directed by the given criteria.
• Able to calculate cut/fill volumes and balance the quantities as needed.
• Ensure the X-REF files are reconciled and in the right folder.
• Plotting/Printing files for both review and final submittal, following the CTB and PC3 files that are provided.
• Ensure technical accuracy of drawings, layouts, details, material lists and space allocation.
• Be able to evaluate alternatives and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate a variety of renewable energy equipment to a technical design.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project).
• Strong and creative problem-solving ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients.
• A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
