Additional Information
- Bulk Fuel Tank Project in Baghdad, Iraq which includes:
- Installation of a fuel storage farm and related distribution system
- 800,000 gallons of diesel fuel storage, 400,000 gallons of aviation fuel (JP8)
- Fuel receiving ports and 400,000 gallons of mogas
- Modification of perimeter wall for new fuel receiving ports
- Testing and recirculation of aviation fuel
- Control room
- Fire protection/suppression system upgrades at eight existing facilities
- New fire pump house
- We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year, but 24 months are available if you want them.
- Compound housing provided.
- Uplift includes 70% of base salary.
- Benefits include (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, round trip flights home every 4 months)
- Provide DOS/OBO with full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
- Perform technical inspections of mechanical work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
- Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
- Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.
- US Govt. Secret Clearance or higher
- US Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Current US PE license can substitute for degree
- 7 years construction experience
- ABET accredited international degree accepted in lieu of US Bachelor’s or US PE
