TEW Design Studio is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Raleigh, NC

Founded on the principle that design should be fun, exciting, and daring, we create uplifting spaces that are visually inspiring and easy to live and work in.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for daily management of all key marketing programs and tools, and reports directly to the Founder and Principal Designer. This role creates social media content, writes blog post and email content, coordinates miscellaneous events, and collaborates will relevant marketing vendors. Integrity, commitment to collaboration, passion for marketing and communications, flexibility, and creativity are essential for this role. This is a part-time position expected to grow into a full-time role within 1-2 years.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Interior Design related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing or sales support role
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating or producing high quality/effective marketing collateral and communication
  • Experience using Adobe Suite programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Proficient in the use of various MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in WordPress preferred (not required)
  • Experience managing and developing content for professional social media accounts
  • Project management experience, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written communication skills

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create social media strategy & content, engage with followers and relevant accounts, and measure/report on the efficacy of programs.
  • Write first-draft blog posts and email campaign content.
  • Build emails and automation workflows
  • Maintain CRM database, confirming timely follow-up with leads/opportunities and appropriate segmentation.
  • Create draft marketing reports & planning materials.
  • Manage external vendors (strategy, search engine marketing, radio ads)
  • Leverage new tools and technology to improve efficiency in all efforts.
  • Update the company website regularly with new portfolio images, resources, etc.
  • Manage search engine optimization of website and social media accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members to support discovery calls and scheduling as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office-based role focused on managing all marketing efforts and supporting sales needs.
  • Dynamic and collaborative environment requiring adaptability and responsiveness to company needs.
  • Regular office hours with occasional need for flexibility based on client schedules and project demands.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • Hourly rate is $18-24/hour (depending on experience and qualifications) at 20 hours per week.
  • Opportunity for full-time salary based on performance and company need.
