We are looking for a dynamic Design Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our thriving design studio and showroom, specializing in flooring, tile, decorative accents, and more. In this role, you will wear multiple hats, leading your team, managing the showroom, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the studio's financial success.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Provide direction and support to a team of design sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Profit & Loss (P&L) Management: Track and analyze showroom performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability. Develop strategies to achieve sales goals and optimize profitability.
• Showroom Management: Oversee the showroom experience, ensuring a welcoming and informative environment for clients. Manage inventory, displays, and visual merchandising.
• Client Development: Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and home builders. Host client events and presentations, showcasing design expertise and product offerings.
• Outside Sales: Contribute to the studio's sales goals by actively pursuing new business opportunities with architects, designers, and home builders.
• Administrative Duties: Oversee studio operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design industry, with a focus on flooring, tile, and/or decorative accents.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of design principles and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in project management and client relationship building.
• Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of exceeding sales goals (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design software (a plus).
