Texans Can Charter Schools is Hiring an ACE Site Coordinator 2024-2025 (Immediate Hire) Near Southwest, NY

Revised June 20, 2023 Primary Purpose: To oversee the planning, implementation, management and evaluation of the Texans Can ACE Program at the assigned campus. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field, or industry-based certification with a minimum of four (4) years experience.CTE Teaching or industry-based certification, highly preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to maintain positive working relationships with the public and frontline staff Strong organization and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High degree of computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Experience with strong programming in the areas of PTECH, Industry Based Programs, Scouting and/or Mentoring Programs Experience with motivating youth in the areas of Workforce, College, Career, Military Readiness Experience: Experience working with secondary students and families s Experience in staff supervision and hiring of front-line staff Knowledge of community resources Preferred – 21st CCLC or After School / Summer School Program experiencesPreferred experience with robust quality programming for secondary students Major Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinate the Texas ACE Program implementation under the programmatic direction of the ACE Program Director while collaborating with campus administration.Organize and work closely with school administration to implement program Communicate with Campus Administration, service providers and other community partners to ensure a seamless delivery of services.Meet regularly with ACE Program Director and Campus Administration to address program progress, issues and future needs/direction.Ensure high-quality program services and support to enrolled students that meets the Texas ACE Program objectives in an effective manner Assure regular student participation, as defined by program requirements, by coordinating the recruitment of students, monitoring attendance, and taking steps to ensure that regular student counts are met or exceeded Coordinate data entry and evaluation of program at the center Organize supplies, materials, equipment, and transportation for center Lead and facilitate on-going planning efforts including community outreach Manage the recruitment and retention of students. Maintain all records in a timely manner in Tx21st management system and district student management systems. Collaborate with campus leadership to design after school model programs that align to Workforce, Career, College, and Military Readiness Facilitate communication and create a link between the school-day and the program Attend all required meetings, conferences, and trainings Meet all compliance items including effective data & fiscal management Recruit, train, develop and day-to-day management of frontline staff to achieve intended objectivesEstablish an environment of success through positive staff morale and program achievementCollect required data on a daily basis.Mediate and facilitate effective resolution of conflicts in a timely fashion.Encourage consensus building and team decision process.Manage the use of office facilities and program spaces to ensure a clean, orderly and safe office.Work with Program Director and Campus Administration to assess personnel performance of program staff and to develop professional training to address gas and/or enhance existing positive traits while fostering a train-the-trainer atmosphere.Any other duties required Supervisory Responsibilities: Tutors Working Conditions: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Standard physical activity such as periodic standing, walking, sitting, basic motor skills to access computer files for information or simple data entry. Occasional travel along with frequent prolonged and irregular hours. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate campus functions; maintain emotional control under stress. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
