Texas A&M Health is Hiring a Program specialist iii Near College Station, TX

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate curriculum management in CARS.
  • Ensure the departmental webpage is regularly updated with the latest curriculum-related information.
  • Schedule courses and coordinate room assignments.
  • Manage the departmental teaching plan and teaching assistant assignments.
  • Maintain departmental academic data for assessments.
  • Coordinate graduate faculty nominations.
  • Keep records for departmental academic committees.
  • Coordinate departmental scholarships, fellowships, and grants for both graduate and undergraduate students.
  • Ensure university compliance for course field trips.
  • Coordinate with the business office and maintain academic-related transactions, including scholarships, assistantships, course fees, and grants.
  • Oversee vehicle usage for field courses.
  • Manage records for student scholarships, fellowships, assistantships, and internships.
  • Support student organizations.
  • Act as a liaison between the academic advising center and the department.
  • Manage graduate student admissions.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Required Education and Experience :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus an additional six (6) years of related experience.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities :

Proactive approach to problem-solving.

Commitment to supporting academic success of both students and faculty.

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
