What we want The College of Education and Human Development has a career opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator II - CEHD Faculty Affairs who will provide administrative support for the CEHD Faculty Affairs group to include the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. What you need to knowSalary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of experience in office administration
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Interfolio and faculty hiring
Responsibilities: Faculty Lines
  • Coordinates faculty line proposal packets
  • Initiate the faculty tracking sheet and coordinate school-wide combined advertisement
Pre-Hire Coordination
  • Assist with the coordination of the Pre-Hire Search Plan
  • Review/initial process with the annual school faculty hiring process
  • Coordinates the search plan approvals within the College of Education
  • In the Pre-Hiring Interview stage, assist with the process of certifying the candidate pool, requesting for permission to interview, and recommendations to hire memos for CEHD
  • Ensures pre-hiring coordination adheres to department and University wide policies and procedures
Hiring
  • Coordinates the administrative processes for hiring for each department to include documentation, Laserfiche processes, degree verifications, selective service forms, and criminal background checks Ensures administrative processes adhere to office procedures
  • Monitors hiring timelines and identifies issues
  • Updates Interfolio and hiring flow to process the candidate hire
Administrative
  • Monitor the Adobe sign account for the faculty affairs group and the common faculty affairs email Researches, interprets, compiles, and responds to inquiries about rules, regulations, policies and procedures
  • Coordinates the maintenance of office supplies and equipment
  • Coordinates office records retention and maintains office references and resources materials
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives
Event Assistance
  • Assist with Dean’s office events meetings, and seminars
