Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic evaluations and support to our patients. This position requires a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and sleep medicine. Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic evaluations on patients, including vital signs, physical examinations, and respiratory therapy. - Set up and monitor equipment for sleep studies and other procedures. - Collect and analyze data from various tests and procedures. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results. - Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of equipment. - Educate patients on sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications. Requirements: - Associate degree or certification in a related field (e.g., Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Technology). - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and sleep medicine. - Previous experience working in a sleep center or with sleep medicine is preferred. - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
