Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory and maintain the appearance of our Plano location, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Instruct students of varying skill levels using our comprehensive chess curriculum.
• Travel across the metroplex to deliver engaging and educational chess lessons at schools.
• Organize and oversee chess activities during summer camps at designated locations.
• Direct chess tournaments and open play nights.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least a US Chess rating of 1300 or higher, or an 1800 Chess.com Rapid rating.
• Available for weekday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Teaching experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for engaging and inspiring students is essential.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient program delivery.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary: $50,000-$55,000
