Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP), a non-profit 501c3, is looking for a creative and tech-savvy Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team. TCAP was established to end animal overpopulation and improve community animal welfare by providing low-cost preventative services throughout North Texas. 

 TCAP’s Marketing & Communications Coordinator will design marketing campaigns and collateral; promote TCAP using social media and other channels; and plan promotional activities and events for our clinics. Some of the duties include: 

• Curates and creates content for TCAP’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
• Maintains and updates TCAP’s website to ensure optimal UX navigation, current content, and SEO optimization.
• Design flyers, digital and print ads, coupons and other marketing materials.
• Responsible for the creation and execution of email marketing efforts via Constant Contact.
• Plans and coordinates TCAP promotional events, and represents TCAP at industry events.
• Assists the Marketing Director in preparing and maintaining a marketing strategy.
• Visits animal shelters and local businesses to promote TCAP.
• Coordinates with outside vendors to order promotional materials and signage.
• Manages TCAP’s internet presence on social websites and review boards -- monitors these sites to respond to comments, reviews, and questions when appropriate.
• Writes and sends press releases to media regarding TCAP’s newsworthy events, accomplishments, and awards. Acts as a liaison between members of the press and TCAP.
• Shoots and edits video for social media and staff training.
• Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing and sales data.
• Assists staff with training on products and services and cross-selling activities.

TCAP is looking for individuals who work well in fast paced environments, work well with a team, are self-starters, leaders, strive to do better each day and take accountability for their actions. We are also looking for candidates that have: 

• Minimum Two years experience in marketing
• Excellent writing and content creation skills.
• Experience with digital advertising (Google Ads, Ad serving platforms, Facebook, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of social media for marketing;
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel knowledge preferred.
• Video editing experience preferred.
