Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will act as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their repair and maintenance needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a strong understanding of diesel repair processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Greet customers and assess their service needs.
• Prepare detailed work orders and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians to schedule and prioritize repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers about the status of their vehicles, estimated completion times, and any changes to the service plan.
• Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions.
• Ensure all customer concerns are addressed promptly and to their satisfaction.
• Handle incoming service inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
• Manage parts inventory and order necessary parts for repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Service Writer or in a customer service role within the automotive or diesel repair industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of diesel engines and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
