TMD General Labor New Meters Dept

Under the general direction of the Manager of Metering Products, general laborers will perform a variety of duties to support the production and shipping of new meter sets and other products manufactured by TMD.

Responsibilities include:

Assembly Read and interpret wiring diagrams to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions. Will assemble steel racks and mount and wire equipment onto the steel racks. Position includes sand blasting work on meters and polishing plastic meter covers.

Production May also work in the electric meter lab to include assembly and disassembly of electronic boards for electric meters and testing of electric meter functions. Position requires use of hand tools and basic computer skills for tracking of test results.

Packaging May also pack meters and other products for shipment. Will wrap and band pallets and use a bar code scanner and other packing machinery. Will record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records. Basic computer skills required.

• Stable Multi-year Work History
• Attention to Detail
• Dependability
• Good Communication Skills (speaking, reading and writing)
• Additional Requirements: Background check clearance including drug screening and I-9 documentation as required by law
