Texas Speed & Performance is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative (Ford Focused)

Texas Speed and Performance, a leader in the LSx industry, is looking for a motivated

candidate for an Inside Sales Representative with a late model Ford Engine

(Coyote/Godzilla) Focus. The success of Texas Speed & Performance is driven by an energetic

We are looking for strong Inside Sales Representatives to join the team as we add Ford and

Mopar/Hemi product offerings to our lineup of high-quality, results-backed products. Together

we will make Texas Speed & Performance the leader in late-model, American V8 aftermarket

performance products.

Specific Duties:

  • Handle all forms of communications with our customers who are seeking assistance to place an order, update an order, or seeking advice and/or recommendations.
  • Providing customers with a solution that closely meets their needs and expectations.
  • Driving sales/margin growth through closing every contact by actively asking for the sale.
  • Researching potential wholesale accounts and proactively reaching out to set them up as a new TSP distributor.
  • Updating order ETA’s by providing clear communication and offering solutions to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Keep the customer’s needs front and center, providing an overall positive relationship.
  • Attend meetings (as required) to understand overall business initiatives and priorities.
  • Provide recommendations for new influencers to support existing &; new product promotions, in line with the mission statement for Texas Speed & Performance.
  • Assist in the identification of new vendors, products, and/or business opportunities.

All other tasks/activities as defined by your direct supervisor. 

Requirements

Required:

 

  • A working knowledge of the late model Ford Coyote/Godzilla engine platforms and a general understanding of General Motors LS and Gen 5 LT engine platforms is a must.
  • Experience in Retail Sales.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Proficient in software applications such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS Word.
  • Willingness to be flexible and a team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task; excellent organization and planning skills

Preferred:

  • Retailed sales in a call center environment.
  • Working knowledge of late model GM LSx/LTx platforms, MOPAR Hemi platforms (5.7L, 6.2L, 6.4L) and/or late model Ford Coyote/Godzilla engine platforms.
  • Late Model, American V8 experience or a minimum of motorsports knowledge through involvement with cars as an enthusiast or hobby.

  • Proactively on-boarding new wholesale/distributor accounts to support the growth of TSP across all late model, performance platforms (GM, Ford, MOPAR)
  • Strong collaborator between marketing, sales, and product teams.

  • Creative in problem solving.
  • Will fulfill and promote our core values of communication-transparency-trust-collaboration-respect, and able to take/receive constructive feedback.

**ATTENTION**

A candidate with experience in retail sales and a working knowledge of the Ford Coyote and

Godzilla engine platforms and a general understanding of General Motors LS and Gen 5 LT

engine platforms is a must. The correct knowledge base is key to making product

recommendations, diagnosing potential issues for the customer, etc.
